Dynamic, easy to update web site

Curiosity Warehouse is an estate liquidation and eBay drop off store located just outside of Baltimore Maryland.

The Challenge

Curiosity Warehouse needed a website to draw visitors into their showroom, and drive traffic to their current items for sale on eBay.  The site would also have to be easy to maintain as they don't have a webmaster on staff.

The Solution

We were able to provide content management features by deploying Drupal a free, open-source, content management system (CMS).   Once Drupal was set up we created a custom theme to define the look and feel of the site.

To display featured in-store items a custom Drupal module was developed.  This allows the client to upload pictures and descriptions of the products they wish to highlight.  Once entered, the products are automatically displayed on the appropriate page.

Current items for sale on eBay are dynamically loaded using eBay's API.  As items are being loaded directly from eBay no user intervention is required.

The combination of Drupal, custom PHP, and third party integration results in a powerful website which is easily maintained.  The use of open-source software speeds development, and keeps the project within budget.
